STEP 4: EXPANDING HOLISTIC CARE SERVICES

  1. Enhance the range of holistic care services offered at the Aapla Dawakhana clinics and interconnected clinics,
including mental health counseling, Ayurvedic treatments, yoga therapy, and nutritional counseling.
  2. Utilize the command centers to provide remote support and guidance for delivering these holistic care services,
ensuring standardized quality and access across the network.
  3. Collaborate with local communities to organize health education workshops, seminars, and group discussions on
various topics related to preventive care and chronic disease management.

Holistic care takes into account the physical, emotional, and social factors influencing an individual’s health. This approach is
particularly relevant for managing NCDs, as lifestyle modifications and stress management are key components of treatment.
Holistic care also supports maternal mental health and promotes a nurturing environment for child development.

Counseling services, including psychotherapy, stress management, and emotional support, can be provided at static centers
by trained mental health professionals or remotely through tele-counseling. Ayurvedic consultations can be offered at static
centers by qualified practitioners who provide personalized treatment plans based on an individual’s unique constitution
(dosha). Health education is crucial for empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their health and can be
delivered through workshops, seminars, mobile apps, and video content. Yoga classes can be offered at static centers or livestreamed through mobile apps, promoting physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Nutritional counseling services, provided
by registered dietitians, can offer personalized meal plans and guidance on healthy eating habits.
